This week we will have a cook out at CollegeLife on Tuesday night at 7pm at Greenbrier Ridge.
We’ll have some ladder golf, vollyeball and other games. We’ll start grilling around 7pm and just hang out for the evening.

Capri Sun- bring it!
CLife has been out and about this weekend, climbing things and getting our shoes muddy. It was try No. 2 to get to Ramsay Cascades, and it was also fail No. 2. One or two wrong turns and an hour-plus wait in traffic for a wreck to be cleaned up threw us off a bit.
We ended up hiking the Chimney Tops trail, which includes a bit of crawling up dangerous rocks to reach the actual top. But we made it and ate our food up there. Pretty thrilling.

Meet up with us this Tuesday at Greenbrier Ridge Apartments for our normal weekly meeting. We’ll start at 7 p.m.
Upcoming excitement includes watching synchronized fireflies this Saturday. We’ll be meeting at Fellowship at 5 p.m. and carpooling to Gatlinburg for the show. Here’s some information from Inside Gatlinburg:

Laziness. No one wants to be called out as being lazy by others, it is somewhat offensive. And as much as we don’t want others to call us lazy, at times we delight in our own laziness. “Man I slept till 12:30 and then sat by the pool for 5 hours and then watched 2 movies and went to bed.” That’s lazy. And you fight back… No, that’s summer!
We all have seasons of productivity and laziness. But in my relationship with Christ there are times where the word laziness would best define my relationship with God. I sit back and allow others to feed me. I listen to Christian cds in the car, podcasts while working out, follow dailybibleverse on twitter, i’m a “fan” of God on facebook… but I haven’t studied the bible for myself in quite a while. I haven’t been working on my relationship with Jesus other than gleaning what others have learned about Jesus.
Proverbs uses the words lazy and diligent to describe two different men.
The question is biblical … Are you lazy or diligent? Proverbs 12:27.
There are many things we are not lazy in, but ONLY our relationship with Christ leads to righteousness and eternal life. What else could we possibly be diligent about!

Saturday June 6th 9am- Hike Ramsey Falls in the Smokies. Bring water, snacks, money for dinner on the way home.
Saturday June 13th- Go watch syncronized fireflies in the smokies! Meet at Fellowship at 5pm!

It gives you hope and should encourage you. ANYONE can make an impact.
I hope it is not too much of a stretch to transition this video over to your relationship with Christ, and doing what He has called you to do. For a few seconds you make look absolutely crazy and feel all alone, but if you just keep doing what you feel you are called to do there is power in that. Some of you may have felt all alone and questioning for a long time. Keep going.
Plus this is just crazy.
