We are typically really bad at being “processors”. We have created machines that do that for us. We don’t put alot of extra thoughts into things. If you ask someone, “why do you say that” “why did you do that”, etc… normally their response will be something like, “i don’t know.”
I’m not sure that “i don’t know” is the untrue or shallow answer, as much as it is simply how we have been programmed to think.
How was Easter? “Good” Why?
I don’t know…
The music was good? The sermon was different? Family? But in all of those answers, what really made your Easter what it was?
Some of you may say, my Easter was boring, numbing, life giving, exciting for the first time in a while, same ol same ol, amazing, confusing, sad, lonely, powerful, etc… But why?
Continue to process what you celebrated yesterday. So Jesus conquered death AND SIN? But what does that do to today? Now that the new outfit is back in the closet and tests and projects are on the horizon, what does a risen Savior mean to those things?
Just processing along with you….
JC
