Lots of people might ask to lead, but really what they want is out of their current circumstance.
They think it they had more power they would respond accordingly. I think this is backwards thinking, it’s like saying, I would be more generous if I had more. Really? My thought is that if you are not responsible with little, you probably won’t be responsible with much. And the same is true in leadership. If you are not effectively leading those God has entrusted to you, why would he entrust you with more?
So the question today is from Bill Hybels of Willow Creek:
